Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of fatzebra.co.za and every order placed through it. Placing an order means you accept them.

1. Who we are
Fat Zebra supplies branded apparel, corporate gifting, workwear, signage and event branding to businesses, schools, clubs and events across South Africa. We are an official reseller of Barron. Our contact details appear at the end of this page.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Fat Zebra” mean Fat Zebra; “you” and “the customer” mean the person or entity placing an order; and “the site” means fatzebra.co.za.
2. Products and pricing
All prices on the site are in South African Rand and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Branding, decoration, setup and delivery are quoted separately and are not included in the product price shown.
We price bulk orders on request. Prices are subject to change without notice and are confirmed only on a written quotation or order confirmation. Where a price is listed in error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full.
3. Orders and acceptance
An order placed on the site is an offer to buy. A contract of sale comes into existence only once we accept your order and confirm it in writing. We may decline an order where stock is unavailable, where payment cannot be verified, or where the order cannot be fulfilled on the terms requested.
You are responsible for checking that quantities, sizes, colours, codes and delivery details on your order are correct before you confirm it. Where an order is placed incorrectly and delivered, the cost of collection and re-delivery is for your account.
4. Branding and artwork
Branding is carried out by embroidery, screen printing, sublimation or heat transfer. Where you supply artwork for branding, you warrant that you own it or hold the rights to use it, and you indemnify us against any third-party claim arising from its use.
We supply a digital proof for your written approval before any branded production begins. Approving a proof confirms the artwork, placement, sizing and colour breakdown. We are not liable for errors carried through from an approved proof.
Branded goods cannot be returned. Once a product has been branded, personalised or altered to your specification, it is no longer returnable or refundable other than for a manufacturing defect. Order a sample first if you are uncertain about colour, sizing or fabric.
Where artwork layouts have been created and the order is subsequently cancelled, a layout fee of R200 excluding VAT applies per layout.
5. Payment
Payment is due in full before goods are dispatched or branded, unless you hold an approved account with agreed terms. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, processed by our payment provider over an encrypted connection. We do not store your card details.
Ownership of goods passes to you on receipt of full payment. Risk passes on delivery.
6. Delivery
We deliver throughout South Africa. Delivery timeframes quoted are estimates based on stock availability, branding lead time and courier schedules. They are not guaranteed, and we are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive and sign for the goods. Check the consignment on arrival: where anything is damaged, short-supplied or missing parts, notify us within 2 business days so we can log it.
7. Returns and cancellations
Returns, refunds, defective goods and cancellations are dealt with in full in our Return Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: unbranded stock in original condition may be returned within 10 days of receipt subject to a return authorisation and a handling fee; branded and customised goods are not returnable; and your rights in respect of defective goods under the Consumer Protection Act are unaffected.
8. Colour, sizing and stock information
Product colours on screen may vary from the physical product depending on your display. Sizes are indicated in centimetres and may vary slightly from those published. Where exact colour or fit matters, request a sample before placing a bulk order.
We work to keep product information, stock levels and specifications accurate, but given the volume of products listed, errors can occur. We are not liable for costs incurred on the basis of incorrect information displayed on the site or in a catalogue. Confirm availability and lead times with us before committing to an order.
9. Intellectual property
The Fat Zebra name, logo, site design, copy and photography are our property or are used under licence. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our written permission. Brand names and product images belonging to our suppliers remain the property of their owners.
Artwork you supply remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to reproduce it for the purpose of fulfilling your order, and to show finished work in our portfolio unless you tell us in writing not to.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability arising from any order is limited to the value of that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or loss of business opportunity.
We provide the site as it stands and do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free.
11. Privacy
We process your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013. How we collect, use, share and protect it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies. These terms are governed by South African law and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction.
